Shah Rukh Khan’s cult classic Kal Ho Naa Ho is proving its timeless charm at the box office. The romantic drama, directed by Nikkhil Advani, has been re-released on limited screens across India. Nearly two decades after its original premiere in 2003, the film is showing remarkable trends in its comeback.

Kal Ho Naa Ho Set To Cross Rs 1.60 Cr In Its 1st Week Of Re-Run

The re-release kicked off with Rs 0.12 cr on its opening day, gradually gaining momentum. The weekend saw a significant boost, with collections hitting Rs 0.30 cr on Saturday and Rs 0.35 cr on Sunday. This took the film’s opening weekend total to a solid Rs 0.77 cr.

What’s even more impressive is its performance on weekdays. On Monday, the movie collected Rs 0.25 cr, dropping by just 28% from Sunday’s numbers—an incredible hold for a re-released film. Tuesday’s estimated earnings also stand at Rs 0.25 cr, bringing the five-day total to Rs 1.30 crore. By the end of its first week, Kal Ho Naa Ho is expected to cross Rs 1.60 crore.
