The fans of Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan are in for a treat as the megastars are all set to share the screen space once again after 17 years. According to a source, the duo is collaborating on a new project that is yet to be revealed. The details about the project are not known, but more updates are expected soon.
The source said, “There is an interesting project in the works where Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan will once again be sharing the screen together. Not a lot of news surrounding this project is out yet, but there will soon be more updates and news coming out.”

Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan’s Iconic Films Together
Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan have a history of working together in some of the most memorable films of Bollywood. They were last seen together in Karan Johar’s ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna‘ in 2006, which dealt with marital infidelity and dysfunctional relationships. The film also starred Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Preity Zinta, and Kirron Kher.
Before that, they shared the screen in ‘Mohabbatein‘ (2000), where Amitabh played a strict headmaster who opposes love, while Shah Rukh played a music teacher who encourages his students to follow their hearts. They also starred in ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham‘ (2001), where they played father and son who have a fallout over the latter’s choice of partner. They also appeared in ‘Veer-Zaara‘ (2004), where Shah Rukh played an Indian Air Force officer who falls in love with a Pakistani girl, while Amitabh played his foster father. Meanwhile, in a recent episode of KBC 15, a contestant confessed her deep love for Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh humorously promised her to relay her sentiment to SRK. He said, “Whenever I will meet him, I will tell him about you. I will say Aparna was praising you on the set of KBC.”
Amitabh Bachchan also recalled his experience of working with Shah Rukh Khan while talking to this contestant.
