Shah Rukh Khan Death Threat: Accused Faizan Khan Arrested In Chhattisgarh After He Fails To Appear Before Mumbai Police

Shah Rukh Khan death threat news has latest update! Mumbai Police arrests lawyer Faizan Khan after he fails to appear for questioning.

Mumbai Police have arrested Chhattisgarh-based lawyer Faizan Khan in connection with the recent death threat issued to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

The arrest comes after Faizan failed to appear before the police for questioning. The incident has raised serious concerns, with the lawyer accused of demanding a Rs 50 lakh ransom from the actor.

Accused Earlier Claimed That His Phone Was ‘Stolen’

On November 5, Shah Rukh Khan received a threatening call demanding money. Investigations quickly traced the call to Faizan Khan’s phone number in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

During interrogation, Faizan claimed that his phone had been stolen on November 2, days before the call was made. Despite his claims, Mumbai Police arrested him after he failed to appear for questioning.

The police have registered a case against Faizan under sections 308(4) (extortion involving threats of death or serious injury) and 351(3)(4) (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code.

The call was reportedly made at 1:20 pm on November 5, and Faizan allegedly threatened Shah Rukh Khan with harm if the money was not paid. When questioned about his identity, he asked the police to refer to him as “Hindustani.”

Faizan’s failure to cooperate led to his detention. Authorities detained him at his home in Raipur after tracing the threatening call to his phone. He had reportedly filed a case at the local police station on November 2, claiming his phone had been stolen. However, the police found inconsistencies in his statement, which led to his arrest.
