Aziz Mirza says that Shah Rukh Khan was never chasing stardom, but he was always destined to be a star. Read to know more!

Veteran filmmaker Aziz Mirza recently spoke about his early memories with Shah Rukh Khan. He played a big part in SRK’s journey to the big screen. In a recent interview, Mirza said Shah Rukh had no plans to become a movie star when they first met. He was happy working in television.

At the time, Shah Rukh was already making a name for himself on the small screen. Many filmmakers were interested in casting him. But SRK was not in a rush to enter films. Mirza also shared that the actor used to crash at his place back then. Fame and superstardom were not on SRK’s mind.

Aziz Mirza Recalls Last Conversation With SRK’s Mother

Mirza said, “Shah Rukh Khan was always destined to be Shah Rukh Khan. He also remembered a touching moment with Shah Rukh’s mother, who was seriously ill when he visited her in Delhi.

He added, “She asked me – What’ll happen to my son? Will he do well? I told her – Be certain of one thing; I don’t know if your son will become a superstar, but he will always do well because he’s a good actor.”

Mirza added, “Shah Rukh is an excellent actor. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen much of his later work, but he’s an excellent actor. Somebody has to be with him to just help him out. He is capable of giving you whatever you want. But you have to take it out of him… Otherwise Shah Rukh will be Shah Rukh.”

Shah Rukh Khan Said THIS About Losing His Parents Too Soon

SRK has often spoken about the pain of losing his parents at a young age. In a 2014 episode of Anupam Kher’s talk show, he spoke about his mother’s final days. He shared, “I said to her that if you leave, I won’t take care of my sister. I won’t study, I won’t work and other such stupid things… But I think these are just childish beliefs. Maybe she was satisfied that I’ll take care of my sister, and do alright in life.”

Aziz Mirza is known for giving Shah Rukh his early breaks in Bollywood. He directed films like Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Yes Boss, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, and Chalte Chalte. These films helped shape SRK’s film career.

Now, Shah Rukh is enjoying a powerful comeback. His recent hits Pathaan and Jawan have done well at the box office. He’s now preparing for his next big project King. The film will star his daughter Suhana Khan and actor Abhishek Bachchan. Shooting for the film will begin next month. There’s a lot of buzz about the rest of the cast, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
