Superstar Shah Rukh Khan expressed his joy and pride after witnessing Team India’s return to Mumbai, celebrating their T20 World Cup win. The Indian cricket team clinched the final match against South Africa on Saturday in Barbados, sparking nationwide celebrations.

SRK, known for his passionate love for cricket, shared his emotions on social media.

Taking to his social media, SRK shared a video from the parade and wrote, “Seeing the boys so happy and emotional fills my heart with pride…. As Indians this is such an amazing moment – to see our boys take us to such great heights!!! Love u all my Team India… and now dance away all night long. Boys in Blue take away all the blues! Big Congratulations to the @BCCI, @JayShah and the entire support staff that has worked tirelessly behind the scenes so that our boys could soar!!”

The victory parade in Mumbai featured a memorable moment when cricketer Rohit Sharma struck Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic arm pose. This filmy gesture quickly went viral, capturing the joy and excitement of the celebrations. 


Fans were thrilled to see Rohit and his teammates embracing the moment as they paraded through Marine Drive before reaching Wankhede Stadium.

Team India’s World Cup Win 

Team India returned to India on Thursday after being delayed in Barbados due to Hurricane Beryl. Upon arrival, they met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, spent time with their families, and then flew to Mumbai for the grand parade and celebration.

Captain Rohit Sharma and star batter Virat Kohli proudly displayed the T20 World Cup 2024 trophy to the fans lining the route. The joyous atmosphere was electric as supporters cheered and celebrated their heroes.

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah and vice president Rajiv Shukla joined the players on the bus, sharing in the momentous occasion. The players, wrapped in the Tricolour, symbolised national pride. Virat Kohli, Kuldeep Yadav, and Yuzvendra Chahal were among those who wore the national flag during the Vijay Rath journey.
