For Shah Rukh Khan, this is a real estate deal with the pull of a full circle life moment. The superstar has bought the second and third floors of his family’s old Panchsheel Park home in Delhi for Rs 37 crore, turning the address where he and Gauri Khan once lived before Mumbai into a fully consolidated family property.
The emotional value of the purchase is what makes it stand out. Long before the box office records, global fame, and Mannat, this was the home tied to Shah Rukh Khan’s early life in the capital. With the basement and ground floor already owned by the family, the latest acquisition brings the entire residence under the Khan family’s control.
Shah Rukh Khan Reclaims Full Ownership Of Panchsheel Park Home
Located in one of South Delhi’s most premium neighbourhoods, the residence stands on a 1,200 square yard plot, equivalent to 10,800 square feet. The transaction value has been placed at Rs 37 crore, with the land valuation estimated at around Rs 34,260 per square foot.
The deal ranks among the most prominent celebrity residential transactions seen in Delhi in recent years. It also strengthens the Khan family’s already significant real estate portfolio, which includes high profile addresses in India and overseas.
What gives this purchase its real resonance is the history attached to it. This is the home linked to Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s early years together, before his rise as one of Hindi cinema’s defining stars. Gauri Khan, who has long built her own identity as a celebrity interior designer and entrepreneur, has also been closely associated with shaping the family’s design sensibility across multiple properties.
Beyond real estate, Shah Rukh Khan’s business footprint has steadily expanded through Red Chillies Entertainment and the D’YAVOL brand. This Delhi acquisition now sits as both a sentimental reclaiming and a major addition to that wider luxury portfolio.
