The makers have officially announced that the folklore fantasy spectacle will now arrive in cinemas on September 25, 2026, and the fresh poster unveiled alongside the date is designed to do exactly what a big-ticket event film should, spark curiosity instantly.
The new visual goes for scale and symbolism over easy reveal. Shot from a dramatic top angle, the poster places a warrior-like central figure between a circling bull and tiger, hinting at a larger spiritual and physical conflict at the core of the story. The announcement also came with a line shared by Sidharth Malhotra that deepens the intrigue around the film’s mythology: “Baagh uski dahaad hai… Nandi uski shakti. Aur Vvaan… uski kahaani.” The wording, paired with the imagery, suggests a story rooted in symbols, power and folklore rather than a conventional fantasy template.
Positioned as a large-scale theatrical entertainer, The Vvaan blends fantasy, action, comedy and adventure. The film follows a rational city-bred man whose return to his ancestral village pulls him into an ancient force tied to a forbidden forest and long-held local beliefs. That larger universe has already been teased through The Legend of Vvaan comic book, signalling that the makers are building an original folklore world from the ground up.
