Shah Rukh Khan Reveals Getting SCOLDED For Not Announcing His Next Film, Recalls A Fan Saying ‘Birthday Hai. Abhi Toh Kar De Yaar’

Shah Rukh Khan interacted with fans on his 59th birthday. The actor revealed about getting scolded for not announcing his next project.

Shah Rukh Khan recently turned 59 on November 2, celebrating this special day with his wife, Gauri, and daughter, Suhana. They shared a heartwarming cake-cutting moment together.

However, this year’s celebration was a bit different. Instead of greeting fans from his balcony at Mannat, SRK invited them to a special indoor event in Mumbai.

Shah Rukh Khan On Getting Scolded For Not Releasing Films Quickly

During the event, Shah Rukh Khan engaged directly with his fans. His signature wit and humour kept the atmosphere lively. He took the opportunity to express how much his fans mean to him, making it clear that their support is invaluable.

In a candid moment, he addressed the crowd, saying he takes his time making films. He joked about getting scolded for not releasing movies quickly enough. The actor revealed one fan told him, “Birthday hai. Abhi toh (announce) kar de yaar.” This prompted laughs and applause from the audience.

SRK added a classic saying, “Always remember, sau sunar ki ek lohar ki hoti hai,” which means that even a single hammer strike is worth more than many soft words.

Adding to the fun, Shah Rukh referenced a famous dialogue from Tiger Shroff’s debut film, joking, “Heropanti sabko aati nahin hai; meri jaati nahin.” He then turned it into a playful twist, saying, “Sabki (film) aati hai par hamari (film) aati hai.”

Shah Rukh continued to interact with his fans, urging them to be patient while they wait for his next project. He noted, “Sometimes, you love me so much that you shout back at me and say ‘Chal film release kar’.” His charm and genuine connection with fans made the event memorable.

SRK Also Delivered Food Boxes To Mumbai Police On His B’day

SRK’s team also took the time to show appreciation for the Mumbai Police. A video surfaced on social media showing police officers stationed outside his home receiving food boxes from Khan’s team.

The officers shared the food packets among themselves, demonstrating a sense of camaraderie. One user on X (formerly Twitter) shared the video and wrote, “Latest: King SRK’s team sends food containers to Mumbai Police. King for a reason.”

Shah Rukh Khan: Work Front

On the work front, Shah Rukh has exciting projects in the pipeline. He will star in Sujoy Ghosh’s upcoming film, King, alongside his daughter Suhana. Suhana made her debut last year in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies.

The production for King is set to start next year, aiming for an Eid 2026 release. Abhishek Bachchan will play the villain in this big-budget actioner.
