Following Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) sensational victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the IPL 2024 final, superstar Shah Rukh Khan couldn’t contain his joy.
Celebrating the win held in Chennai, SRK was spotted on the ground, basking in the glory alongside the KKR players.
Known for his close camaraderie with former cricketer Gautam Gambhir, who serves as KKR’s mentor, Shah Rukh Khan shared a light-hearted moment from their interactions, revealing a humorous rule he imposes during team meetings.

In a candid conversation with Star Sports India, Shah Rukh Khan praised Gautam Gambhir’s contribution to the team and reminisced about their camaraderie in the dressing room. He shared, “We have a rule: whenever I go to team meetings, the discussion is always that everyone will play however they want, but this time let’s make Gautam dance. He has been kind. Out of the 3 times we have been together, he has come twice. But that was a day match, and the matches were in the morning, but we will get there.”
Adding a touch of humour, Shah Rukh Khan highlighted the camaraderie within the team, stating, “We talk with each other about our losses and wins. We laugh also. There are one or two team owners with whom we don’t do this. They take it personally. Most of us old owners we talk to each other and discuss whether it was a good day or a bad day.”

On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up to portray the role of an underworld don, or Gangster, with his daughter Suhana Khan playing his protegee in King.
The film delves into their unique mentor-disciple relationship, showcasing their survival skills against all odds.
The duo is currently engaged in action workshops, preparing for the fast-paced thriller that marks Suhana Khan’s debut on the silver screen. The shooting of this film will occur in London.
