SRK, Salman, and Aamir Share Stage at Sitaare Zameen Par Premiere Night
As Sitaare Zameen Par is set for theatrical release, Bollywood’s biggest stars, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, were the focus of a special premiere event that took place in Mumbai on June 19. The stars were the main event of the pre-screening show prior to the film’s worldwide release on June 20, and all three superstars of Indian cinema were together again on the stage.
SRK Wows Everyone With Surprise Entrance
A video that is now going viral captures Shah Rukh Khan walking into the venue to loud cheers. He donned laid-back attire—black jacket, cargo jeans, cap, and dark eyeglasses—all in an effort to blend into the crowd for the event.
Not only did he interact with debutant actors during the affair, but he even hugged them, provided lots of encouragement, and did his iconic click, which left the attendees and fans beaming with delight.
“SRK not only came to the premiere, he raised the entire atmosphere,” said one crew member who witnessed the event unfold.
“His message raised the spirits of the kids.”
Salman Khan Lets On That He Was Offered SZP
In addition to SRK’s kindness, Salman Khan was also on hand in all black. While also displaying his own style of comedy, he shared he was offered Sitaare Zameen Par.
In a cheeky moment between actors, Salman was seen saying to fans:
“I was going to do this film, but Aamir did Sitaare Zameen Par.“
This caused uproarious laughter and went viral instantly.
Salman took a picture together with Aamir and also had a light-hearted moment with the paparazzi. His appearance emphasised the strong camaraderie in Bollywood, despite them sometimes competing with each other.

The screening was not just limited to the Khans. A who’s who of stars included Rekha, Vicky Kaushal, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Jeetendra, Tushar Kapoor, Kriti Kharbanda, Sunny Kaushal, and Tiger Shroff, making it one of the biggest Bollywood events of 2025.
About The Film
Sitaare Zameen Par is directed by R.S. Prasanna and stars Aamir Khan as a reluctant basketball coach who finds purpose while mentoring neurodivergent children. Genelia D’Souza plays an essential role in the film, which is being hailed for its sensitive storytelling, socially conscious themes, and refreshed cast of new actors.
As earlier revealed by Box Office Worldwide, Sitaare Zameen Par was almost lost due to a delay in the censor certificate and Aamir Khan being strongly opposed to the CBFC cuts. Nonetheless, the movie will release on over 3,250 screens in India and is likely to expand with positive word of mouth.
