Shah Rukh Khan‘s Jawan is one of the most anticipated Bollywood films of this year. Yesterday, the much awaited prevue of the film was launched and it has created a storm on the internet. The video has some of the best moments from the action thriller and shows glimpses of his dialogues and scenes. Today, Shah Rukh took to Twitter to thank all the cast and crew members of the film after the warm response of the prevue.
Thanking the director of the film Atlee Kumar and his wife Priya Atlee, SRK wrote: “Sirrrrrr!!! Maaasssssss!! Your are da man!!!! Thank u for everything and making sure the A K Meer gave his inputs along with Priya!! Love u all.” Interestingly AK Meer, Atlee’s son, is named after Shah Rukh’s father, Mir Taj Mohammed Khan.

Shah Rukh also thanked actor-comedian Sunil Grover, who has a supporting role in the film, by calling him Guthi. Sunil gained popularity for portraying Guthi on Kapil Sharma’s show. He tweeted, “Thank u my ‘Guthi’ too much fun having u on this journey. You are so good in the film! Love u”

Vijay Sethupathi also plays a pivotal role in the film and he was shown boxing in the prevue. Shah Rukh thanked him for teaching him little Tamil and providing him with good food. He wrote, “Sir an honour to work with you. Thanks for teaching me a bit of Tamil on the sets & the delicious food u got. Love u Nanba!”

In Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan is reuniting with his Chennai Express co-star Yogi Babu. SRK expressed his admiration for the Tamil actor and tweeted, “Thank u Yogi sir. It was sooo fun to work with you again.”

Jawan is directed by Atlee Kumar in his Bollywood debut and is produced by Gauri Khan and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Deepika Padukone (in a special appearance). The film will release worldwide in theatres on September 7th, 2023 in Hindi and dubbed in Tamil, and Telugu languages.
