Shah Rukh Khan is taking his next big UAE outing beyond cinema. The superstar has unveiled UNIFYD, a one day Indian music and culture festival set for March 20, 2027, at Etihad Live on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, with Arijit Singh, Karan Aujla and Sonu Nigam announced as the first headliners.
Conceived and curated by Shah Rukh Khan, UNIFYD is being positioned as a large scale live entertainment event that blends music, community and cultural celebration. The festival will feature more than 15 artists across multiple stages, with more names expected to be announced in the coming weeks. Organisers are also billing it as Sonu Nigam’s first music festival appearance, a detail that adds an extra layer of interest to the line-up.
Shah Rukh Khan Steps Into Festival Curation
Khan is not just lending his star power to the event, he is also shaping its creative direction. In the official announcement, he said, “I’ve spent my life watching stories bring people together, and music does that like nothing else.” He added, “With UNIFYD, we wanted to create something grand, something full of heart, energy and unforgettable moments, where some of India’s biggest artists can share one stage and create memories for fans from all over the world.”
That pitch makes the ambition behind UNIFYD clear. This is not being framed as a standard concert stop, but as a festival built around Indian music’s growing global reach, especially in a city like Abu Dhabi that draws a large South Asian audience.

Ticket Sale Dates And Festival Partners
Tickets for UNIFYD will be sold exclusively through the District app. The Emirates NBD cardholder presale opens on October 19, 2026, at 9.30 am UAE time and runs until October 20, 2026, at 9.30 am. General ticket sales begin on October 20, 2026, at 10.30 am UAE time. Ticket prices have not been announced yet.
The festival is produced by D’YAVOL Live and District, in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi and Miral, and in association with Emirates NBD. D’YAVOL Live operates under the D’YAVOL Luxury Collective, co founded by Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan, Leti Blagoeva and Bunty Singh.
Shah Rukh Khan’s Recent And Upcoming Work
Khan’s last three releases remain Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki, all of which arrived in 2023 and marked a major big screen resurgence for the actor. Pathaan and Jawan emerged as massive commercial successes, while Dunki extended his strong theatrical run that year with a softer, more emotional register.
His next confirmed film is King, which is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 24, 2026. The action thriller is backed by Red Chillies Entertainment and features Shah Rukh Khan alongside Suhana Khan, with the project carrying added curiosity because it brings them together on a major theatrical title.
