Several people were held after the Narcotics Control Bureau busted an alleged rave party and seized several substances earlier this month, including Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan. He was then detained, along with seven others, for violating multiple NDPS Acts. His bail has now been denied for the second time, and the next hearing will be held on October 13. After the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) submits its statement to the court, the bail hearing will be held on Wednesday.
Aryan Khan was one of nine people detained after the NCB went undercover to raid a ship rave party. The agency had requested that Khan’s detention be extended until Friday, but the court ordered NCB to respond by October 13.
The anti-drugs agency had requested that his detention be extended until Friday so that it could file its response.
Lawyer Amit Desai had requested the court for the hearing of bail of Aryan Khan to place today since no drugs were found on him. “The offence involves only a one-year sentence. For this child, seven days is not suitable,” Mr. Desai had said, according to NDTV. But, the NCB stated that they were not ready with their statement.
At the International Cruise Terminal in Mumbai, NCB recovered 13 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of MD (mephedrone), 21 grams of charas (small quantity), 22 tablets of MDMA (ecstasy) (intermediate quantity), and Rs 1,33,000. They had stated in court on Monday that no narcotics were found on Aryan Khan, but that tiny quantities of contrabands were discovered on the co-accused.
