Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘SRK+’ is an advertisement & not his OTT app? Here’s the truth!

On Tuesday, Shah Rukh Khan gave SRKians some good news by hinting at his new business, SRK+. He has announced the launch of his own OTT app, dubbed SRK +. “Kuch kuch hone wala hai, OTT ki duniya mein (sic)” he captioned his post on social media when he shared the poster. He did not, however, provide any other information about this planned digital venture. King Khan is rumored to be working on his own OTT app, according to fans and media outlets. But wait, it may not be the case! According to an ETimes study, SRK’s post is less likely to be an advertisement. The poster is only a teaser for a Disney+ Hotstar ad that will air soon.

A source said to the portal, “One wonders how and why there was so much of guesswork being done regarding Shah Rukh’s poster. A right official announcement may soon be in the offing.”

On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan is set to act alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in YRF’s Pathaan. The film is set to be released in theatres in January 2023.

So, we’ll have to delve a little more to see if SRK+ is an ad or an OTT app! Stay tuned for further information on this.
