The iconic Bollywood love story Veer-Zaara (2004), starring Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta, is set for a special re-release in international cinemas this November, marking its 20th anniversary.
Yash Raj Films (YRF) is bringing the film back to screens across key overseas territories, including North America, the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, and South Africa.
This release is significant as it’s one of the first times the re-release trend will reach overseas markets, offering international fans a rare big-screen experience of Veer-Zaara.

A standout aspect of this re-release is the addition of the song “Yeh Hum Aa Gaye Hai Kahaan,” a track that was cut from the film’s original release due to length constraints.
Though it later appeared on the DVD version, the song has never been shown in cinemas. Now, fans will finally see it as part of the main film, giving audiences something new to look forward to even two decades after the film’s initial release.

They added, “Foreign fans of the film will get a chance to experience the re-release trend, and the song ‘Yeh Hum Aa Gaye Hai Kahaan’ will be a special addition for them to enjoy on the big screen.”
November 2024 will be a significant month for Shah Rukh Khan’s fans. Not only will Veer-Zaara re-release in multiple territories, but Khan will also celebrate his 59th birthday on November 2.
Just weeks after, another SRK classic, Karan Arjun (1995), is scheduled for a worldwide re-release, including in India, on November 22, giving audiences a rare chance to catch two of his memorable films in theatres.
