About This PVCU Film
Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, Jai Hanuman is expected to captivate audiences with a story steeped in Indian legends and cultural depth. The poster alone hints at the grand scale and mythological depth fans can expect from the film.
Scheduled to debut its first full look on Diwali, October 30, 2024, Varma’s cinematic universe expands as he builds on the success of HanuMan, the 2024 blockbuster that broke records as a sleeper hit with Rs 350 crore worldwide.
This hit established Varma’s storytelling skills and earned the title of the second highest-grossing Telugu and South Indian film of the year, cementing HanuMan as a fan favourite.
Reports surfaced about the casting of National Award-winning actor Rishab Shetty, especially after his celebrated role in Kantara. Shetty, though not yet confirmed, would bring powerful energy to the role, echoing the film’s essence of heroism and bravery.
Varma’s superhero universe, inspired by Indian mythology, was teased during the end credits of HanuMan, signalling the upcoming sequel, which left fans buzzing with anticipation.
Building on HanuMan’s success, Jai Hanuman is expected to lean heavily into VFX magic, aiming for high-octane battle sequences and grand visuals. This may include dragons and mythical elements that promise to deliver an epic spectacle.
