After considerable speculation, the makers of Shahid Kapoor’s film ‘Jersey’ have finally revealed the film’s new release date. It will now be released in theatres on April 14, 2022.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Shahid shared the announcement with his fans. It read, ‘So so happy to announce that our beloved film #Jersey will be releasing worldwide in theatres on the 14th of April 2022. See you in the theatres.’

According to the revised release date, Shahid’s ‘Jersey’ will compete with Yash’s ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, which is also due out on the same day. Previously, the makers of Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ had set April 14 as the release date for their film. However, the release date has been pushed back to August 11, 2022. ‘Adipurush,’ starring Prabhas, was supposed to be released on August 14, but it has now been pushed back.

Jersey is an official Hindi adaptation of the Telugu movie of the same name. It also stars Mrunal Thakur in the lead role.
