Shahid Kapoor recently shared some exciting behind-the-scenes (BTS) pictures from his upcoming film Deva, leaving fans eager for his action-packed role. The film is set to release on January 31 & stars Shahid as a tough police officer.
Shahid Kapoor Drops BTS Pics From Deva Sets Ahead Of Release
In the new photos, Shahid exudes confidence, dressed in a black blazer over a grey shirt. One photo captures him seated on a couch, casually glancing to the side with a cigarette in hand. Another striking black-and-white image shows him facing the camera with the cigarette, looking calm & giving off a mysterious vibe.
Sharing the photos, he wrote, “This post is injurious to health.”
Shahid Kapoor Doesn’t Want His Kids To Join The Film Industry
Shahid recently shared some personal thoughts on his family life. Speaking on Raj Shamani’s podcast Figuring Out, Shahid revealed he doesn’t want his children to follow in his footsteps in the film industry.
He explained that he finds it a tough industry and doesn’t want them to face the same challenges he did. “Kaafi saari cheezein hain (There are many things) that I do not want them to take from me. I want them to be more confident inherently, which I think they both are. I wasn’t inherently that confident,” Shahid said.
He added, “Ideally, I wouldn’t want them to do my job, picture mein mat aana yaar. Kuch aur karo, Bahut up and down hota hai yaar, bahut rough hai. (Don’t get into acting. Do something else. There are many ups and downs, it’s very rough) If they want to, it’s their choice, but I would be like choose something simple, this is too complex.”
About Deva & Shahid’s Work Front
Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, Deva is an action-drama that stars Pooja Hegde as a journalist. Along with Shahid and Pooja, the film also features Pavail Gulati, Pravessh Rana, and Kubbra Sait. The plot revolves around a rebellious police officer who uncovers a web of deceit and betrayal while investigating a high-profile case.
Shahid’s last appearance was in the music video Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya with Kriti Sanon, while Pooja Hegde’s most recent film was the 2023 action-drama Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan alongside Salman Khan.
