Arjun Reddy famed Shalini Pandey is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Ranveer Singh starrer Jayeshbhai Jordaar. The buzz was running around the BTown from quite sometimes now but there was no official confirmation made by the team.
The film is written and directed by Divyang Thakkar, and according to the latest update Shalini will be seen opposite Ranveer. While the actress says ‘this role inspires her to prepare herself thoroughly to deliver her best’ the filmmakers are also quit confident for her.
According to the producer Maneesh Sharma, Shalini was so good in her audition that he immediately knew she was the right choice for the role.
He also praised her for her acting skills and said she has a refreshing presence and they have real confidence in backing her talent. Divyang Thakkar is directing Ranveer for the first time. The film is a laughter ride set in Gujarat.
Ranveer will be seen playing the role of a Gujarati man for the first time.
