Shanaya Kapoor and Abhay Verma have kicked off shooting for their upcoming film in Goa. Directed by Rock On 2 filmmaker Shujaat Saudagar, the film is yet to be titled. Fans got a sneak peek into the shoot when the director shared a behind-the-scenes photo on his Instagram Stories.

On Wednesday, Saudagar posted a photo from the set, featuring a crew member holding a clapperboard. Though details about the film are still under wraps, excitement is already building.

This marks Shanaya’s third project after Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan and Tu Yaa Main. After the success of Munjya, Abhay is also making headlines with his latest music video, Pehla Nasha 2.0. The song is a tribute to Aamir Khan’s Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar and captures the essence of first love.
Abhay Verma On Paying Tribute To Aamir Khan With Recent Music Video
Abhay recently spoke about the music video, calling it a personal tribute to the Bollywood superstar. “‘Pehla Nasha’ is not just a song. It has been like a love language for me. It’s an ode to my idol Aamir sir in my own little way. It was an absolute honour to recreate what these legends had done in a responsible and respectful way and I feel more than fortunate to present this tribute as the face of the song,” he shared.
Pragati Nagpal (who features in the video and lends her voice to the song) also expressed her excitement. She shared, “The tunes of the nostalgic nineties still play on in our memories. Singing for ‘Pehla Nasha 2.0’ was like revisiting the magic of that era. I had such a great time singing this melody and performing the video with Abhay who shares my passion for vintage hits.”
Shanaya Kapoor And Abhay Verma’s Work Front
Shanaya is keeping busy with multiple projects, including Tu Ya Main and Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan. She is also set to make her South Indian film debut.
Meanwhile, Abhay is reportedly part of King, a film starring Shah Rukh Khan. He is expected to play Suhana Khan’s love interest in the action entertainer.
