Sharvari Reveals She Trained For 3-4 Months To Learn Somersault, Performed At The Audition Of Alia Bhatt’s YRF Spyverse Film

Sharvari recently revealed training for months to audition for her YRF spyverse film led by Alia Bhatt. Here's what she said!

Munjya actress Sharvari is currently basking in the success of her latest release, which has grossed over Rs 53 crore in just 10 days. She will soon commence shooting for Aditya Chopra’s Spy universe, where she shares the screen with Alia Bhatt, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor.

A video of Sharvari training for somersaults at Tiger Shroff’s gym went viral last year. In a recent conversation with ETimes, she revealed that it was part of her audition for the spy film.

Sharvari REVEALS Training 3-4 Months For The Film’s Audition

Sharvari said, “I trained for about three to four months with Kuldeep, who also works closely with Tiger at his gym. At that point, I did not know what I was training for, but Adi (Aditya Chopra) sir wanted to see whether I could pick up action body language because I had never done it before. In fact, Vedaa (with John Abraham) was also not on the cards at that time. So, we did not have anything to show Adi sir what kind of action I could do.”

She further added, “I didn’t even know he was considering me for this (spy) film. But he purely said that he wanted me to go and see if I could learn a few things, send him videos, and see if it’s possible for me.”

There’s a buzz that the actress is currently learning hand-to-hand combat for the film because it includes numerous fighting sequences. Talking about it, she said, “I think I’ll not reveal too much about it, but yes, we are training for some exciting stuff.”

Sharvari and Alia are set to team up for a massive action piece.

Earlier, sources revealed that Bhatt’s first days on set will involve an intense action set-piece, with more thrilling sequences to follow. Sharvari, who plays Bhatt’s sister in the film, will join her soon after.

“Shiv has several fight sequences lined up for the first leg of shooting,” said a source to Mid-day.

“After Alia’s introduction scene, she and Sharvari will team up for another massive action piece. Adi is making sure the Mumbai shoot is tight, with a limited crew and heavy security to keep details under wraps,” the source added.

The spy adventure continues beyond Mumbai as the crew is set to travel to the UK for the next part of their mission. Anil Kapoor, cast as their mentor, will join the team for this phase of the journey.
