Pooja Entertainment, owned by Jackky Bhagnani and Vashu Bhagnani, is facing accusations from several crew members regarding delayed salary payments, sparking controversy across social media platforms.
The grievances were publicly shared on Instagram by crew member Ruchita Kamble, who expressed frustration over the prolonged delay in receiving payments owed by the production house.
Crew Members Accuses Jackky Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment On Non-Payment
In her post, Kamble highlighted the challenges faced by herself and fellow crew members in accessing their hard-earned wages, despite the promise of clearance within 45-60 working days post-project completion. She criticised what she described as unprofessional and unethical conduct on the part of Pooja Entertainment.
“I’m not one to make such posts, but seeing my team and crew struggle day in and day out to get our own money has forced me to speak out,” Kamble wrote in her Instagram statement.
She drew attention to what she perceived as the production house exploiting their passion for filmmaking, urging others to refrain from working with Pooja Entertainment.
Support for Kamble’s stance poured in from other social media users, with many echoing similar experiences of payment delays and unresponsiveness from the production house.
One comment highlighted the plight of over a hundred crew members awaiting payments for two years, contrasting it with actors who reportedly received timely compensation.
About Pooja Entertainment
Established in 1986, Pooja Entertainment has been associated with notable films like Coolie no1, Biwi no1, and Jawaani Jaaneman, among others. Despite this legacy, their recent production Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, featuring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, failed to make an impact at the box office.
