Stree 2 isn’t the only thing buzzing about Shraddha Kapoor. Following the film’s big box-office success, she’s now in the news for a major move. It’s being reported that Shraddha will soon be Akshay Kumar’s new neighbour, having rented Hrithik Roshan’s sea-view apartment in Juhu.
Shraddha, who starred in the much-anticipated Stree 2 alongside Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pankaj Tripathi, is ready to upgrade her personal space.
Shraddha Kapoor Set To Move In Next To Akshay Kumar’s House
According to reports, she has chosen Hrithik Roshan’s luxurious apartment as her new home, placing her in the same building as her Stree 2 co-star, Akshay Kumar. Akshay lives there with his wife, Twinkle Khanna, and their children, in a stunning duplex.
Initially, there were rumours that Varun Dhawan was eyeing Hrithik’s apartment. The actor was reportedly planning to move in with his wife, Natasha Dalal, and their daughter.
However, those plans didn’t materialise. Interestingly, Varun made a special appearance in Stree 2 as Bhaskar Sharma, his character from Bhediya, another hit from Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Supernatural Universe. Bhediya was released in 2022 and received positive reviews for its unique blend of horror and comedy.
Akshay Kumar’s Cameo In Stree 2
Akshay Kumar also surprised fans with his role in Stree 2. He played a psychiatric patient in Bhopal who holds crucial information about defeating the film’s antagonist, Sarkata.
His character has a shocking connection to the villain, claiming to be part of the same bloodline. The post-credits scenes of the film further hint at a larger role for Akshay in future instalments, adding more intrigue to his already captivating character.
Stree 3 Confirmed Amid Massive Success Of Stree 2
Stree 2, produced by Maddock Films and directed by Amar Kaushik, has been a massive success. The film shattered box office records, becoming an all-time blockbuster. It set a new benchmark with the highest earnings for a second weekend and continued its dominance even on the third Monday, thanks to the partial Janmashtami holiday.
Shraddha’s portrayal of the mysterious woman in the film has kept audiences hooked, especially with the revelation of her character’s identity, which had been a well-kept secret.
Amid all this excitement, Amar Kaushik has already confirmed that Stree 3 is in the works. He even hinted at the possibility of a standalone film focused entirely on Shraddha Kapoor’s enigmatic character. Fans are eagerly awaiting more details, as the Stree franchise continues to expand its supernatural universe.
