Actor and producer Nikhil Dwivedi is working on his next film, Nagin, after the success of CTRL. The long-delayed film will be directed by Saket Chaudhary (known for Hindi Medium).

To mark Makar Sankranti, Nikhil shared a picture of the Nagin script on social media. His post created excitement in no time with fans expressing eagerness for the project. The reveal hinted that the film is progressing well.
Saket Chaudhary, who has directed Hindi Medium and co-written films like Asoka and Pyaar Ke Side Effects, is bringing a new take on folklore with Nagin. The movie is set to be a love story with a focus on sacrifice and promises impressive VFX. The release date hasn’t been confirmed yet, but the film is generating considerable buzz.
Is Shraddha Kapoor Still A Part Of Nagin?
Fans are also wondering about Shraddha Kapoor’s role in the film. She was announced as the lead actress years ago but was not mentioned in Nikhil’s recent post. Shraddha had previously expressed her excitement about playing the role of a nagin, inspired by Sridevi’s iconic performances in Nagina and Nigahen.
Nagin was initially set to be directed by Vishal Furia and was planned as a trilogy. With Saket Chaudhary now in charge, many are curious to see how the film will take shape.
On Shraddha Kapoor’s career front, 2024 has been successful. Her film Stree 2 did well at the box office, even surpassing Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, as the top-grossing Hindi film before Pushpa 2: The Rule took over.
