Twitter offering blue ticks for sale has finally proven the expected horrible results. A fake account of actor Shreyas Talpade with a blue tick recently tweeted about ‘Shehzada’ and called Kriti as ‘Next Madhubala’. The fake account wrote, “Just saw #shehzada.. @TheAaryanKartik take a bow my friend… and @kritisanon is the next madhubala of this country…”
After reading the tweet, actress Kriti Sanon thought it’s a verified account of Shreyas and he has praised ‘Shehzada’. Kriti replied, “Wow! Those shoes are too big to fill.. but thank you for such a lovely compliment”
After that, the real actor Shreyas Talpade tweeted from his authentic, verified account and criticised the bogus account by retracting the praise. Shreyas Talpade wrote, “Dear @kritisanon, I am so sorry a tweet was sent to you via a fake account under my name. Will take it up with @verified @TwitterSupport and block the imposter immediately. That aside…..sending you love and luck for Shehzada!”

The whole scenario was quite more entertaining than the ‘Shehzada’ movie itself. But on a serious note, something needs to be done about twitter selling blue ticks for bucks. It can lead to some more serious scams in future.
Shreyas Talpade was last seen in a Marathi drama movie ‘Aapdi Thaapdi’ while Kriti Sanon recently appeared in ‘Shehzada’ with Kartik Aaryan.
