Sidharth Malhotra is all set to bring some big projects over the next two years. His latest film, a comedy entertainer, is already getting attention. Mahaveer Jain will produce the film, and Raaj Shaandilyaa will direct it. The team plans to start filming in September 2025.
Sidharth Malhotra Finalised For Mahaveer Jain’s Comedy Entertainer
Sources revealed that this film will be a full-on big-budget comedy. A close source told Pinkvilla, “The yet untitled film is an out-and-out big-budget comedy entertainer, and the entire team – from Sidharth Malhotra to Mahaveer Jain and Raaj Shaandilyaa – are excited to take it on floors towards the second half of 2025. The characters and world have the potential to lead itself to a one-of-a-kind high-concept franchise.”
The source also revealed that makers are not planning this as a one-time project. They want to build a comedy franchise with a fresh concept. Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, the man behind the Fukrey series, will also produce the film. He helped shape the script as well, which adds strong creative value to the project.
Mahaveer And Sidharth’s Work Front
Mahaveer Jain is preparing to take over the 2025 box office. Along with this comedy, he’s also producing a creature comedy. Both films promise large-scale entertainment with fresh stories. Jain is also developing other films that will be announced soon.
Sidharth is not slowing down either. He is about to finish Param Sundari and will begin shooting for Vvan this summer. That film is backed by Ekta Kapoor and TVF. He has also signed Race 4, where he’ll star with Saif Ali Khan. Plus, he’s in advanced talks for a new film with Gunjan Saxena director Saran Sharma. Karan Johar will produce that film, but the shoot dates aren’t final yet.
On the other hand, Jain has joined forces with Karan Johar for Nagzilla, which stars Kartik Aaryan. That film will also go on floors in September.
