Sidharth Malhotra has made a name for himself in the Bollywood industry. The actor has proven his acting caliber in films of a variety of genres, including action. His last release, however, Mission Majnu failed to impress anyone. Now, Malhotra is gearing up for his next action thriller flick titled Yodha. There is good news for all the fans who were waiting for its release announcement.
The Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha-directed feature has a release date and it will be out on 27 October. It was earlier slated to release on 7 July but got delayed due to multiple reasons. Produced by Karan Johar under the Dharma Productions banner as well as Shashank Khaitan, the film also stars Disha Patani and Rashi Khanna. Jointly produced by Dharma, Mentor Discipline Films, and Amazon Studios, the film is an action-packed thrill ride that will follow its lead character played by Malhotra.
Meanwhile, Dharma has a long list of films that will hit the theatres this year. One of the most anticipated ones has to be Karan’s directorial venture Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani which stars Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, and Dharmendra among others.
Upcoming Projects Of Sidharth Malhotra
Apart from Yodha, Sidharth Malhotra will feature in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming cop drama titled Indian Police Force. He is currently shooting for the Amazon Prime series which is expected to release sometime in next year. It is a part of Shetty’s cop universe that also includes Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi. Malhotra’s last two years, Thank God and Mission Majnu received lukewarm responses. We hope he can bounce back with Yodha.
