Given that it is an aerial action movie, “Yodha,” which was produced by Hiroo Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan, is said to be a first for Dharma. The movie was originally scheduled to premiere on November 11, 2022, however because of scheduling conflicts, the producers chose to push back the release date to 2023.
Dream Girl 2, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday, has a new release date. From its previous release date of June 29, 2023, the movie will now be available on July 7, 2023. The box office rivalry between Dream Girl 2 and Satyaprem Ki Katha, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, has changed. Yodha, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Disha Patani, and Raashii Khanna, has also changed its release date today.
Although the reason for the shift in release date is unknown, it is assumed that Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, which opens on June 2, Adipurush with Prabhas and Kriti Sanon June 16, 23, and Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kartik-Kiara could be a contributing factor June 29, 23.
Raaj Shaandilyaa, who also oversaw the first instalment, wrote and directed Dream Girl 2. One of the year’s most popular rom-coms, the first instalment of the series, which starred Nushrratt Bharuccha opposite Ayushmann, was released in 2019. The release date for the Ektaa R Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor-produced Dream Girl 2 has been moved up to July 7, 2023.
