Superstar Salman Khan is gearing up for a massive return to the big screen with his Eid 2025 release Sikandar. The action-packed film is directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
The filming was recently wrapped up after an intense 90-day schedule across various locations in India. Rashmika Mandanna stars as the female lead, while Sathyaraj and Prateik Babbar play key roles.
Sikandar Makers Officially Conclude The Film’s Shoot
The final schedule took place at a five-star hotel in Mumbai, where Salman and Rashmika filmed a crucial patchwork scene. Insiders revealed that the shoot wrapped up around 8:30 PM.
A close source told Pinkvilla, “It was a patch-work sequence between Salman and Rashmika in Bandra, and the team wrapped up the shoot around 8:30 PM. Right after the shoot, Salman cleaned his beard, which he was sporting to maintain his look in Sikandar. In real life, Salman always prefers a clean-shaven look.”
The makers filmed Sikandar across Mumbai, Hyderabad, and several other locations. The film features four songs, including three dance numbers, and five high-octane action sequences.
As expected from an AR Murugadoss film, Sikandar blends romance, drama, politics, and revenge, with action-packed sequences designed for the big screen.
Post-Production In Full Swing, Trailer Drops Soon
The source further revealed, “The team is now deep into post-production, adding the final touches to ensure Sikandar is ready for the Eid 2025 release.”
While principal photography wrapped up in January, Salman, Rashmika, and the team continued filming patchwork scenes and a promotional song in February and March.
With the edit now locked, work is progressing on colour grading, VFX, and background score. The final prints of Sikandar will be ready in the next five days, leading to theatrical release this Eid.
Meanwhile, the trailer is in its final stages and will be dropping soon. The teaser and two songs have already created buzz, and the upcoming trailer is expected to raise the anticipation ahead.
