The excitement for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Sikandar, directed by A R Murugadoss and starring Salman Khan, is growing. Since its announcement, the film has been highly talked about, and recent updates have only added to the buzz.

Production started in June with a thrilling action sequence shot inside a plane, 33,000 feet above the ground. Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala flash smiles as they are seated together on set. This highlights their strong relationship with the actor-producer duo.

The team is currently busy with the shoot and will soon move to a palace in Hyderabad. They have also built detailed sets to mimic Dharavi and Matunga, adding realism to the film.
Salman Khan’s dedication to Sikandar is impressive, especially as he is dealing with a rib injury. Despite the pain, he is committed to ensuring that filming continues smoothly. His role in the film features a character with a mix of arrogance and anger, true to the ‘Sikandar’ persona. This role marks a return to the ‘bad boy’ image that fans enjoyed in Sultan.
Actor Set To Shoot Key Action Scenes In 2nd Schedule
In the first shooting phase, Salman filmed a dramatic fight scene with the villain’s son inside a private plane. The antagonist, played by Sathyaraj from Baahubali, brings depth to the film’s plot. Salman is also working with action directors known for their work on the Mission Impossible series, promising high-quality stunts and action sequences.
The next phase of shooting will include three more action scenes and an aerial sequence, increasing the film’s action quotient. Salman’s focus on Sikandar has meant stepping back from other projects and his hosting duties for the OTT version of Bigg Boss. It’s unclear if he will also miss hosting Bigg Boss 18 on TV, but his attention is fully on this film.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the Nadiadwala Grandson banner, Sikandar is set for release on Eid 2025. The film stars Salman Khan, Rashmika Mandanna, Suniel Shetty, and Prateik Babbar in prominent roles.
