Salman Khan is working on his latest project with the same energy he had for Kick. He’s teaming up again with producer Sajid Nadiadwala for the action-packed drama Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss. The film is set to release on Eid 2025 and will mix intense action with emotional storytelling.

Salman Khan Begins 2nd Schedule Of Sikandar

The film will see Salman Khan with Rashmika Mandanna for the first time, adding fresh chemistry to the screen. South Indian star Sathyaraj will play the antagonist, bringing a seasoned touch to the cast. The excitement around the project has reached new heights as Khan kicks off a 45-day marathon shooting schedule in Mumbai today.

Sources close to the film revealed to Pinkvilla that Sajid Nadiadwala and his team have built an extensive set in a Mumbai studio. “Local parts of Mumbai have been recreated in a huge studio. It took over three months and a significant budget to make everything look authentic. This schedule is crucial for shooting both action and emotional scenes,” a source said.

Khan is reportedly eager about the shoot. The film features not only action but also powerful emotional and dramatic moments. “Salman is looking forward to the high-octane scenes and emotional depth under Murugadoss’s direction. Rashmika, Sathyaraj, and Prateik Babbar will also be part of this intense schedule,” the source added.

Next Schedule At An Indian Palace In November

After wrapping up the Mumbai leg, the team plans to shoot at a grand palace in India. This segment, expected to last 15 to 20 days, is scheduled for November. The palace shoot aims to enhance the film’s scale and production values.

Sikandar will showcase Khan in a bold new role, portraying a character with a blend of arrogance and intensity. As previously reported, the character’s traits are reminiscent of a king’s lineage, embodying both anger and arrogance. “He is a Sikandar in the true sense, and this portrayal will resonate with audiences looking for a compelling bad-boy persona,” said an earlier report.
