Ajay Devgn recently attended the trailer launch of his highly anticipated film Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. During the event, he was asked about another eagerly awaited project, Singham Again.
Fans are excited to see him reprise his role as the iconic cop Bajirao Singham. Devgn shared some significant updates about the progress of the film, offering fans a treat with his insights.
Initially, Singham Again was set to release in August alongside Pushpa 2: The Rule. However, the release was delayed as more work needed to be completed.
Ajay Devgn On Delay In Singham Again Release
At the trailer launch, Ajay Devgn addressed the delay, explaining, “I am not sure about the release date. The work on the film, which kicked off earlier, has not been completed yet and a few portions of shoot are pending as well. We do not want to release the film in a hurry because that often ruins it. So when it is ready, we will release it then.”
He added, “We are in no rush to announce the release coz we don’t want to compromise on the quality of the film.”
Reports suggest that the filmmakers are aiming for an October or November release, hoping to capitalise on the festive Diwali season. This timeline would allow them to leverage the holiday excitement and maximise audience turnout.

Singham Again marks the third film in the Singham franchise and the fifth instalment in Rohit Shetty’s ambitious cop universe. The film stars Kareena Kapoor Khan as the female lead, with Arjun Kapoor playing the main antagonist. Additionally, Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh are set to make special cameos, further enriching this action-packed entertainer.
The movie will also introduce two significant characters to the cop universe: Deepika Padukone as Lady Singham and Tiger Shroff as ACP Satya. Directed by Rohit Shetty, Singham Again is expected to be a major release in the last quarter of 2024, promising a thrilling addition to the celebrated franchise.
