Bollywood is churning out back to back horror-comedies over a last couple of years, starting from Stree to Roohi, Bhool Bhulaiya 2 and now we hear that there’s another one getting ready to go on floors.
As per a report in peepingmoon, Sonakshi Sinha and Riteish Deshmukh will be seen together in a horror-comedy bankrolled by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP. They will be essaying the characters never attempted before in their respective careers. The yet-untitled film will be helmed by a debutant director.
This will be the first time that we will see Sonakshi and Riteish together on screen. Both Sonakshi and Riteish are said to have have signed the film and will begin working on it after completing their current projects.
This horror-comedy is said to be similar in theme yet very different from the recently released horror comedies Stree and Roohi. The pre-production work for the film is starting and the film is expected to go on the floors around September this year in Mandawa, Rajasthan.
Meanwhile, Sonakshi will be next seen in her war drama Bhuj: The Pride of India, headlined by Ajay Devgn. It is scheduled to release directly on Disney+Hotstar. She also has Reema Kagti’s web series, Fallen that marks her debut in web series world, which will premiere on Amazon Prime Video. After which, she has Netflix film Bulbul Tarang in her kitty which will go on floors once the shooting restrictions are lifted.
Riteish on the other hand will make his digital debut with a Netflix film directed by Shashanka Ghosh.
