Third part of the blockbuster Tiger film series, starring Salman Khan, Emraan Hashmi and Katrina Kaif Tiger 3 was expected to go on floors earlier this year in March. But the shoot got disrupted first when Katrina tested Covid-positive after which, Maharashtra government announced a lockdown in the state.
It was reported a few days ago, that the film’s set that was erected in Goregaon was damaged when Cyclone Taukte affected various parts of the state.
Now, it has been revealed that the producer, Aditya Chopra has decided to dismantle the sets at the SRPF Ground in Goregaon, since there is no clarity on when the shoots will resume in Mumbai.
The state government has decided to extend the lockdown till mid-June, with no clarity on when the restrictions will be lifted in the state. It has been costing a heavy amount to the producers to maintain the set which has remained unused for almost 1.5 months now.
So, they have decided to re-erect the set when they are ready for shoot. Not just the permissions from the state, the makers have also decided that they will resume the shoot when the entire unit of the film will get vaccinated. Tiger 3 has a massive crew of about 300 people which will easily take sometime. The first round of vaccination drive was recently completed for Pathan’s crew.
Tiger 3 will also have Emraan Hashmi locking horns with Salman Khan in its third part. The film will also have its shoot in parts of Europe as it has been opened fully vaccinated travellers. According to the sources, the team will shoot the Europe segments first before Mumbai portions.
