Brahmastra plot revealed: Ranbir travels back in time to pre-Mahabharatha era!

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra has been in making for 4 years now. It’s a mega budget magnum opus of Hindi film industry. There have been many changes in the plot along this, like Ranbir’s character name has been changed many times, SRK & Nagarjuna have been roped to play special roles in the film, etc.

Now, we have learnt some new details around the film’s plot.

According to reports, this Ayan Mukerji’s directorial Brahmastra travels 3000 years back to an era just before Mahabharatha. Ayan has created a whole fantasy world, which will be slightly different from what’s being shown in the Hindi cinema so far.

The film apparently is set in two timeframes. The main story is set in present times where Ranbir’s character has superpowers. And he travels 3000 years back in time to pre-Mahabharatha era to learn about weapons like Brahmastra in order to fulfil a mission in the present time.

It is being said that, in addition to these two timelines, we may also get to see few moments of a future timelines as well.

Ranbir’s character will be seen using his superpowers and many advanced weapons. Nothing much has been revealed about Alia’s character and if she has any superpowers. Amitabh Bachchan’s character apparently resembles ‘Albus Dumbledore’ of Harry Potter.

A source revealed that the film has high-octane action and fight sequences, where the entire nature including earth, sky, mountains, forests, etc will be seen being jumbled up and getting destroyed. The visuals for which have been shot in Varanasi, Manali and Bulgaria and will be further created through VFX. Dan Bradley, a reputed stunt coordinator has shot most of the action for the film in Bulgaria.
