Sonu Sood led a meaningful event at the Gift City Aarambh Marathon in Ahmedabad on December 15. As the Chief Guest, he used the occasion to raise awareness about the importance of a drug-free future.
It was the third season of the marathon and started early at 4:30 AM. Hundreds of people joined in, many wearing Fateh-themed T-shirts to support the cause and Sonu’s vision for a healthier society.

This marathon focused on encouraging a drug-free future, a cause that deeply matters to Sonu, especially for the younger generation. During his speech, he highlighted the power of collective action.
The actor said, “It’s heartening to see so many people unite for such an important cause. The Gift City Aarambh Marathon is a step towards a healthier, drug-free future, and it’s a reminder of how powerful collective action can be.”
He added, “As I prepare for the release of Fateh, I hope the film can also spark important conversations about the unseen challenges we face in the digital world. Awareness and vigilance are key in both areas and through initiatives like this, we can work towards a safer, better future for everyone.”

Besides his role at the marathon, Sonu Sood also engaged with the media in Gujarat, spreading the message of the event and its importance.
About Fateh
Sonu Sood is set to make his directorial debut with Fateh, which is set to release next month. The action-thriller features Sonu Sood, along with Jacqueline Fernandez, Vijay Raaz, Naseeruddin Shah, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya.
The story follows Fateh, a man with a mysterious past. His life changes when a young village girl becomes a victim of a cybercrime syndicate. Fateh teams up with Khushi, an ethical hacker played by Jacqueline, to fight for justice and expose the syndicate.
The film is set for release on January 10, 2025, after wrapping up filming in October 2023. Before the release, Sonu and Jacqueline visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain in December 2024 to seek blessings for the project.
In a recent announcement, Sonu also revealed that all earnings from Fateh will be donated to old age homes and orphanages.
