Ever since the trailer of Sooryavanshi dropped, it created a hype in the audience. The trailer shows Akshay Kumar doing daredevil stunts with Rohit Shetty’s signature action scenes. This is the fourth film of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. The ace filmmaker extensively shot this particular film in Mumbai.

According to the director, while shooting the film the Mumbai police were very helpful when they were shooting at the live locations. The film was shot in locations like Lower Parel flyover and Bandra-Worli sea link.

Rohit said that once they were shooing a scene of police convoy on the Lower Parel flyover at night and had required permission from BMC. As per the director, if the Mumbai police were not there to manage the crowd then it would be impossible to shoot the film.

Rohit also told that the cops helped him to understand the work of Anti-Terrorism Squad.

Meanwhile, Akshay will be seen essaying the role of Veer Sooryavanshi, who is in the ATS team. The film stars Katrina Kaif and Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh on cameos. The film is releasing on March 24, 6 pm onward.
