When it comes into getting into the skin of the character, Akshay Kumar is one of those names. The actor goes to any extent to make his character look real.
This time, again, when Akshay is all set to play Veer Sooryavanshi, who is an Anti-Terririst Squad Officer, in Rohit Shetty directorial Sooryavanshi, the actor went an extra mile.
Speaking to a leading daily, Akshay Kumar revealed some details about Sooryavanshi. When asked about what took him so long to collaborate with Rohit Shetty, he said that they tried to work together twice before Sooryavanshi, but things didn’t work out. Revealing more about getting into the skin of the character, he said that he lost close to eight-nine kilos because he had to look like an ATS officer does.
Starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, Sooryavanshi is slated to release on March 24. We will also see Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh doing a cameo in the film.
