Special 26 starring Akshay Kumar and Anupam Kher in lead roles recently completed 10 years of its release on 8th February 2023.
In Special 26, a gang of thieves poses as CBI agents and launches phony operations to steal the black money of powerful politicians and wealthy businesses. When the genuine CBI officers find out about the gang and follow them, they devise a scheme to catch them in the act just as the con artists intend to pull off their largest theft. ‘Special 26’ was released on February 8th,2013. The movie achieved praise from critics and had performed well at the box office.
To mark the special occasion of 10 years of ‘Special 26’s release, Anupam Kher recently took to twitter and wrote, “ Aaj humari film #Special26 ko release hue 10 saal ho gaye hai, Maine apne honhaar director @neerajpofficial se kitni baar kaha ki woh iska Part-2 banaye par… ab aap he bataye #10yearsOfSpecial26 ka sequel banana chahiye ki nahin? @akshaykumar”
