Vivek Oberoi Enters Prabhas And Sandeep Reddy Vanga SPIRIT With Fierce First Look, Aishwarya Desai Also Joins

PrabhasSPIRIT just got a jolt of fresh heat, with the makers unveiling Vivek Oberoi’s first look and confirming his entry into Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s high-voltage world. The reveal positions Oberoi as a significant new force in the narrative, and the image leans into a darker, more intense flavour that matches the film’s increasingly formidable scale.

Alongside Oberoi’s introduction, the project has also brought in Aishwarya Desai, a new face who is stepping into a key part, expanding the cast line-up as the film moves deeper into its build-up phase.

Vivek Oberoi’s First Look Reveal Adds Fresh Weight To SPIRIT

As of February 27, 2026, SPIRIT is officially dated for a theatrical release on March 5, 2027. The film is backed by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series, and it is being mounted as a large-scale, multi-language release aimed at wide markets. The current plan is for the film to release in eight languages, underlining the “pan-world entertainer” positioning the team has been pushing.

The creative leadership remains firmly with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who is credited as the writer, editor, and director. The producer line-up includes Bhushan Kumar, Pranay Reddy Vanga, Krishan Kumar, and Prabhakar Reddy Vanga, with the film produced under T-Series Films and Bhadrakali Pictures.

While Prabhas headlines the film, Triptii Dimri is also confirmed to play a pivotal role. With Oberoi now formally introduced through a first look, SPIRIT signals a clear intent to broaden its power centres beyond the lead, building an ensemble that can carry the kind of heightened conflict Vanga is known for.

Vanga’s last directorial outing, Animal (2023), set the tone for his uncompromising storytelling and polarising intensity. SPIRIT appears to be shaping up in a similarly muscular register, now with Oberoi’s gravitas and a new casting addition in Aishwarya Desai.

Vivek Oberoi’s Recent And Upcoming Work

Oberoi was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s action series Indian Police Force, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video on January 19, 2024, placing him firmly back in the mainstream action space for OTT audiences. Before that, he was also known for his streaming presence with Inside Edge, which helped broaden his footprint beyond theatrical releases.

On the film front, Oberoi is set to reunite with Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani in the comedy franchise installment Mastiii 4, which is slated to release on November 21, 2025. Looking ahead, he is also part of the big-screen lineup with The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, which is dated for January 21, 2027, and is positioned as a large-format historical mounted for a multi-country release. With SPIRIT dated for March 5, 2027, Oberoi’s next phase is clearly leaning into scale-driven, event-style cinema.
