The Bombay High Court granted Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan bail on October 28 after a three-week wait. According to Aryan’s lawyer Mukul Rohatgi, Shah Rukh Khan was obviously relieved and in tears. In the first photos since the bail announcement emerged, Shah Rukh was even seen posing with his legal team and manager Pooja Dadlani. Several of SRK’s professional friends and colleagues reached out to him at this time to congratulate him. Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, and Suniel Shetty were among them.
While Salman has already paid three visits to SRK in Mannat, SRK’s other buddies have been in frequent contact with him via phone. Gauri has been on regular calls with her friends to assist her in getting through these difficult times. SRK received congratulatory calls from many of his business friends last evening, October 28, as soon as the news of Aryan Khan’s bail was announced.
A friend close to the family told India Today, “SRK got calls from everyone from Salman Khan, Suniel Shetty, Akshay Kumar. Gauri was heard crying on the phone to her friends Maheep Kapoor and Seema Khan, who have been with her daily on the phone giving support. Gauri broke down as soon as the text came in regarding the bail. She was in tears and was seen falling on her knees and praying. Suhana Khan spoke to Aryan’s friends in the US and UK and thanked them for their support in the last few weeks.”
Shah Rukh Khan has been staying elsewhere for some time, according to a source, especially since the Aryan Khan case began attracting fans and paparazzi outside Mannat. On October 3, Aryan Khan was taken into custody by the Narcotics Control Bureau, and on October 8, he was transferred to judicial custody. In the midst of it all, fans gathered outside Mannat to show their support for SRK and Aryan.
An insider was quoted as saying by a website, “It seems SRK was concerned about the law and order situation, and to avoid that, he decided to check into Trident in Mumbai. In fact, he has not been using his usual car either. SRK is currently commuting in a Hyundai Creta instead of his usual BMW.”
