Indian superstar Shah Rukh Khan is going through a difficult time in his life. After the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) detained his son Aryan Khan in connection with a drug bust on a luxury cruise ship, he became entangled in a controversy. The debate has centred on SRK, and it has had an impact on his brand image. He has been experiencing career setbacks since Aryan Khan was imprisoned. Pathan’s international schedules have been cancelled, and his promotional association with BYJU has been halted. But wait, it’s not only SRK; others who are connected to him in some manner are also going through difficulties.
We just learned that Shah Rukh Khan’s doppelganger Raju Rahikwar is losing jobs as a result of the Aryan Khan issue. Concert organisers are wary of assigning any show to Raju after SRK’s reputation has been harmed on social media. His gigs, which he had already committed to, have been cancelled.
While speaking to an entertainment portal, Raju Rahikwar said, “I am sure they will come back in abundance tomorrow. I recently got an offer for two shows in October, but then the organisers called back cancelling them, stating ‘aapko toh pata hai mahol kya chal raha hai (You know what’s going on)’. They even added that permissions for the events are becoming a challenge too because of the pandemic. So I understood what they were trying to convey, and I am absolutely fine with it. Khan Saab ke naam pe 100 shows kurbaan (I can sacrifice hundreds of shows for Khan Saab).”
Raju also revealed that his wife fasts during Navratri and that he has advised her to pray for the Khan family’s tranquilly.
“I am not the right person to comment on it, but all I can say is that they are like my family too. Unke naam se hi mera kaam aur mera ghar chalta hai (I am able to survive because of his name). My wife keeps a fast for all the nine days of Navratri, and this time I have told her to pray for Khan Saab and his family. We are praying that Aryan bhai comes back home soon,” Raju Rahikwar added.
Raju revealed that Shah Rukh Khan is a very humble person after recounting an occasion in which he met the actor in person. SRK was intrigued by Raju’s work and even gave him his office number when he spoke about it.
He also reminisces about the time when he had seen Aryan for the first time. “I had seen him when he was very young, maybe a year-and-a-half or two years old. This was at the Holy Family Hospital in Bandra, I had gone to meet a relative there and Shah Rukh bhai and Gauri bhabhi were also there. So I went up to Khan Saab, touched his feet, and told him that I imitate him. He was curious, asked more about my work, conveyed his good wishes for my parents, and later even introduced me to Gauri bhabhi. He gave me his office’s number too to stay in touch. Such is that man, always so humble and supportive. I really hope that things get sorted soon, and Aryan bhai comes back home,” Raju signs off.
Meanwhile, the bail application of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has been postponed. On October 20, the court will issue an order. On October 3, he was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau after drugs were discovered during a cruise party he was attending. Aryan Khan and seven others were formally arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with a drugs bust on a Mumbai-Goa cruise.
Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan have been going through a difficult period with their son Aryan Khan still imprisoned in the cruise drug raid case. According to a portal, Shah Rukh Khan has been up all night worrying about his son Aryan’s bail. Both SRK and Gauri Khan are heartbroken, as they had not expected their kid to be detained for such a lengthy period of time.
Throughout this ordeal, Shah Rukh’s fans have been by his side. They have been vocal in their support for SRK on social media and have demonstrated their love by writing ‘We stand with Shah Rukh Khan’ on large hoardings outside his home. Not only that, Shah Rukh Khan’s fans gathered outside Mannat to show solidarity with him. They also placed a printed poster outside the main gate of his bungalow. The poster is a collage of SRK’s pictures/selfies with his fans and it reads, “We all fans from from every corner of the world love you deeply and unconditionally! We stand with you in these testing times! Take Care King.”
Meanwhile, several Bollywood celebrities, including Hrithik Roshan, Richa Chadha, Shatrughan Sinha, filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, comedian Johnny Lever, actress Raveena Tandon, Kajol’s sister Tanishaa Mukerji spoke out to show their support for the power couple and to send them their love and strength in these tough times. Salman Khan, on the other hand, has visited Shah Rukh Khan at his Mannat mansion three times since Aryan was arrested.
