This strategic move marks Jio Studios’ ambitious bid to dominate the box office across all major holidays in the latter half of the year.
Jio Studios’ Upcoming Releases Stree 2, Singham Again And Baby John
Accompanying Baby John in this festive lineup are two other big-ticket releases: Stree 2 and Singham Again. Stree 2, slated for an Independence Day release on August 15, reunites the star-studded cast from its predecessor, including Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana, and Pankaj Tripathi.
Following the success of Munjya, which shared the same cinematic universe, anticipation is soaring for this horror-comedy sequel produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and directed by Amar Kaushik.
Meanwhile, Singham Again has generated substantial buzz under the direction of blockbuster maestro Rohit Shetty. Bringing back Ajay Devgn in his iconic role of Bajirao Singham, the film boasts a star-studded ensemble featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Tiger Shroff. Set for a Diwali release, it promises a clash with another highly anticipated film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, yet its blend of high-octane action and patriotic fervour is expected to draw in audiences.
