Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti has demanded a CBI inquiry for the case.
Sharing a picture on her social media handle, she can be seen holding a placard which read, “I am sister of Sushant Singh Rajput and I request for #CBIforSSR.”
She shared a video tagging PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah and wrote, “We stand together as a nation for CBI Enquiry! Demanding an unbiased investigation is our right and we expect nothing but the truth to come out. #CBIForSSR #Warriors4SSR #justiceforSushanthSinghRajput @PMOIndia @narendramodi @AmitShah.”
On August 6 the CBI registered an FIR against six people including SSR’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.
Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty, father Indrajit Chakraborty, mother Sandhya Chakraborty, Sushant’s house manager Samuel Miranda and Shruti Modi’s names had also been included in the FIR. Under charges are abetment to suicide, criminal conspiracy, theft, cheating, intimidation, wrongful restraint, or confinement, among others.
