Taapsee took to social media to share a picture with the Spanish screenwriter and director, Oriol Paulo. Along with the picture, she wrote,

Taapsee’s Blurr is a Hindi remake of the 2010 Spanish film Julia’s Eyes, which was written by Oriol Paulo. He was also a co-writer on the Hindi film, along with Ajay Bahl and Pawan Sony. Moreover, Dobaaraa is a Hindi-language film inspired by the 2018 Spanish film Mirage written by Oriol and Badla is a 2019 Hindi-lan- guage film that is an official remake of the 2016 Spanish film The Invisible Guest by Oriol Paulo.
