Kanika Dhillon, who has written the first two films, is just starting to write the next segment of this twisted romantic thriller. Dhillon, who is also a co-producer for the project, posted this news in a casual online conversation that she had with Taapsee.
“The team always felt like there were layers to still discover with this story with Rani and Rishu. The pulpy charm and unexpected twists have created a universe out of Haseen Dillruba that deserves a third part,” a source said.
Taapsee Pannu is positively expected to return as the dangerously delicious and enigmatic Rani.
While Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal took the lead in the second movie (Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba, which was released in August 2024), it will be interesting to see who the new cast will be.
