As informed earlier, Taapsee Pannu is headlining a new film titled Blurr. The film will be helmed by director Ajay Bahl who is best known for his film ‘Section 375’. Blurr is jointly written by Pawan Sony and Ajay Bahl. The film will be produced by Zee Studios in association with Taapsee’s Outsiders Films & Echelon Productions.
Blurr is a remake of Guille Morales directed Spanish thriller Julia’s Eyes. The film follows a woman who is gradually losing her sight while attempting to solve the death of her twin sisters. After Badla (2019), which was a remake of The Invisible Guest, this will be Taapsee’s second Spanish remake.
In addition to English, Julia’s Eyes is being remade in Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, and Marathi. But did you know, the Marathi remake of this Spanish thriller is headlined by Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh.
Earlier, it was reported that Pushkar Jog and Manjari Fadnnis are coming together for the Marathi film Adrushya which is a remake of Julia’s Eyes. Directed by Kabir Lal, the film will also feature Riteish Deshmukh in a cameo role. This will be Riteish’s third Marathi outing as an actor, after Lai Bhaari and Mauli.

As a result, two Bollywood stars, Taapsee Pannu and Riteish Deshmukh, are remaking the same film in different languages.
