Nawazuddin Siddiqui is said to have joined the cast of Thamba, the upcoming vampire film starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui To Play Antagonist In Maddock Films’ Thamba
According to a mid-day report, the actor, known for his complex antagonist roles in films like Badlapur and Kick, will also play the villain in this movie. However, he’ll be stepping into the horror-comedy genre for a unique twist this time.
His character is set across two different time periods—one in present-day India, and the other in the ancient Vijayanagara Empire. The plot will revolve around his character seeking revenge and controlling the fate of the two leads, Khurrana and Mandanna.
According to this report, Siddiqui is eager to explore this eccentric and violent character. He is scheduled to undergo a look test after Diwali to finalise his appearance for the film.
Ayushmann Khurrana & Rashmika Mandanna Are Also Preparing For Their Roles
Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna are already prepping for their roles. Mandanna’s look test took place last month, and Khurrana is expected to do his today. The film is set to start production by the end of November or early December.
The first two weeks of shooting will take place at night in Mumbai, with a large set of Vijayanagara being created by production designers Amit Ray and Subrata Chakraborty. Following the Mumbai schedule, the team will move to Delhi for filming in January, with the final leg planned in South India.
