Sanjay Dutt will soon be seen in the horror-comedy The Bhootni. The makers released the teaser on Maha Shivratri, giving a glimpse into the film’s eerie and action-packed world. Directed by Sidhaant Sachdev, the film is set for a theatrical release on 18 April 2025.
Sanjay Dutt And Mouni Roy’s Supernatural Face-Off In The Bhootni Teaser
The teaser begins with Sanjay Dutt chanting Lord Shiva’s shlokas, creating a mysterious atmosphere. The visuals reveal an old mansion with unsettling events. Mouni Roy appears as a ghost, causing chaos. Dutt plays a ghost hunter who takes on the challenge, hinting at a mix of horror, action, and comedy.
Sharing the teaser on Instagram, Sanjay Dutt wrote, “This Good Friday, fear gets a new date—#FridayThe18th! Get ready for horror, action, and comedy like never before! #TheBhootnii machayegi taandav in cinemas on April 18th!”
Fans showed their excitement in comments praising Dutt’s look and Roy’s presence.
The film also features Sunny Singh, Palak Tiwari, Aasif Khan, and Beyounick in key roles. The Bhootni aims to blend supernatural elements with humour and high-energy sequences.
Sanjay Dutt’s Upcoming Projects
Sanjay Dutt was last seen in the Telugu action film Double iSmart, where he played an antagonist. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film also starred Ram Pothineni, Kavya Thapar, and Sayaji Shinde.
He will next appear in the Punjabi film Sheran Di Kaum Punjabi, alongside Gippy Grewal. Other upcoming projects include KD: The Devil, Housefull 5, and an untitled film featuring Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna. He is also part of Baaghi 4, an action thriller.
