On social media, the director gave fans a sneak peek into the making of his new film by posting a behind-the-scenes photo featuring four young women, who are part of the film’s cast.
Sharing the photos, he wrote a caption, “These young and innocent Bengali girls have no idea what terror is going to hit their characters soon. From the sets of #TheDelhiFiles.”
The caption suggests that the characters, innocent as they may seem, will soon be thrust into terrifying circumstances. It hints at a shocking twist in the film’s storyline.
Fans were quick to react to the cryptic post, speculating about the possible direction of the film. Agnihotri’s films are known for their ability to shed light on hidden truths and uncomfortable aspects of history, and it seems The Delhi Files will be no different.

About The Film
The Delhi Files: The Bengal Chapter will be directed by Agnihotri and is jointly produced by Pallavi Joshi and Abhishek Agarwal. The film is presented by Tej Narayan Agarwal & I Am Buddha Productions, with a worldwide release slated for August 15, 2025.
This means that the film will clash with YRF’s War 2 starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR as leads.
